Yorkshire Middle Route opens young birds at Sleaford

This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Sleaford on the 26TH of July 2014 was the first young bird race of the season with the birds being liberated in a Light Easterly wind.

Central Section:

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 10 members sent 234 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1347 with a Soontjen cock. Second place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1346 with a hen. Third place went to D. Williams on 1323 with a Hereman Ceuster hen. Fourth place went to D. Williams on 1323 with a Janssen cock.

North Hull Club. 6 members sent 79 birds with the red card going to B. Kipling on 1406 with a John Hall bird, Barry is taking his 1st red card in 2yrs. Second place went to M. Foster on 1293 with a Busschaert. Third place went to D Rasul on 1277 with a D. Franciosy gift bird. Fourth place went to S. Loughlin on 1259 with a Mike Wood gift bird. 

Hull Millennium Club. 9 members sent 201 birds with the red card going to M. Wood on 1310 with a Mark Calderwell of Doncaster Staff Van Reet. Second Third and Fourth place went to K & H Green on 1287, 1287 and 1287 all with Ark birds bred at his loft managers house W Brownlee.

Second place went to Pete Dixon on 1328 with a Late Ray Bell x Draper of Wigan bird. Third place went to Sam Jackson on 1322 with a self bred Premier stud Hereman Ceuster. Fourth place went to Sam Jackson on 1318 with a Hereman Ceuster x Marc Capelle.

Fourth place went yet again to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1315 with a Premier Stud Gaston van de Wouwer.

Third and Fourth places went again to Derek Nicholls on 1346 and 1346 with a nest pair of Hereman Ceuster from Premier Stud.
